Identify yourself and tell your story through the art of graffiti.

The way you tell your story can make all the difference! Graffiti, once considered pure vandalism, has gained recognition as an expressive art form that kids love to emulate when they have permission. During this residency, our focus was on creating a folder with a personal tag, or signature, using lettering, bold lines, and bright colors. Inspired by the work of street artist “Thankyou X”, our final project was a mural with each student visually telling their story on paper cubes that ultimately fit together.
